Visa Holds Its ‘Premium Golf Tournament and Training Course’ in Beirut

Visa, one of the world’s leading payment solutions provider, held its ‘Premium Golf Tournament and Training Course’ on July 9, 2011 at The Golf Club of Lebanon in Beirut. The event brought together Visa’s key representatives from Lebanon and the region, along with Visa’s Bank partners, premium cardholders and select members of the press, to partake in a full-day tournament. This event was part of Visa’s commitment to its Premium cardholders, to create unforgettable experiences and offer rewards to them.

Part of the ’Visa Infinite Rewards’ program, the tournament sought to engage the invitees in a world celebrated sport, namely Golf. Guests were invited to take part in a full day of sports, fun and leisure on the extended green fields in Beirut, ending with a competitive golf competition between the attendees. Trainers escorted the members throughout the course, while keeping track of the developments on the tournament front.

Gougassian, along with Mr. Karim Salam, Head of the Golf Committee at the Golf Club of Lebanon, then announced the winners of both the tournament and the training course, who received valuable prizes from numerous brands and chains across Lebanon, bringing the tournament to an end.
